Whisperings is the Covington Heritage Foundation's signature living history experience, where the stories of Covington's past come alive in an unforgettable evening of history, heritage, and storytelling. This year, the event returns to its historic roots in Covington Cemetery No. 1, where costumed interpreters portray the remarkable men and women who shaped our community. As guests stroll through the cemetery at twilight, they'll encounter fascinating historical figures, hear true stories of courage, sacrifice, and triumph, and discover the rich traditions that define Covington. Along the way, visitors will gain a deeper appreciation for the cemetery's beautiful architecture, historic monuments, and the enduring legacy of those who helped build our city.
